Some projects

Tonight I spent most of the evening dismantling and making jewelry. It's not something I do very often--I have the supplies, but don't have/make time to be creative.

But tonight was productive. Mostly. Listening/watching Sherlock helped with the process a bit.

Bird's nest earrings and a necklace pendant (the chain doesn't match, but I was making sure that the loop would work for the pendant). I liked the earrings so much that I made a second pair. XD

(same pair as above)

See? They're not very big, but I think they're rather cute. I'mma wear them tomorrow to Farmer's Market. :3

My other projects need to have better pictures taken of them--but as a hint: one involves book storage, and the other involves a dress that needs repurposed. (The former is almost finished, and the latter is in the planning stages)

Oh! I also broke down and strained off some of the Vinegar to use as fly spray for the horse. She's been rather miserable lately when it comes to flies, and while the Vinegar doesn't last much more than an hour it's a nice little respite. Surprisingly (or perhaps not so surprisingly) it doesn't smell as strong or unpleasant as I thought it would. It's more of a musky smell than vinegarey...and it dries quickly leaving very little scent behind. I'm pretty impressed so far (though I can be easily amused/impressed sometimes. Heh.).

Well, tomorrow is work...and Farmer's Market...so I'm off to bed. I may be back tomorrow with more pictures.

    1. Thank you! I had fun making them--jewelry-making is very relaxing, actually. I was in my room for about 5 hours just taking apart and putting stuff back together...

    1. I did! Grammie gave me a spoon ring a couple weeks ago...but it'd be fun to actually make one. And thank you! :D
